Krishna Ashok

Krishna Ashok

Born in: 1964

About us:

Krishna Ashok, a renowned painter says he has chosen the form for his expression in his painting with a passion for art. Hailing from a village in Andhra Pradesh, Krishna Ashok had a wider exposure to the pastoral beauty and this reflects in his lines from young age. As it is natural and well known fact that any artist in any form first expresses himself from his own personal experiences be it literature or painting, this artist too had begun his art journey similarly. His indelible pursuit and perseverance makes him now what he is.

The environs and the people around him had a larger impact on him. Capturing human emotions in their raw form and expressing them in his colors Krishna has a distinct style of his own. The color combinations he uses reflect his exclusive inimitable style of his paintings.

The themes he chooses are more about the various facets and feels of woman, and his paintings have a rare sense of a narrative through them. Each painting narrates an underlying story in it. This shows the keen observation of life around him. Knowledge of many things is possible to many, but giving them flesh and blood in art is not an easy task. Krishna is such an artist, who uses the canvas as an expression of his heart in art and rest all is the job is of the viewers left to their intelligence and comprehension. There is a tinge of mysticism in his works. A wider range of knowledge with a philosophical perspective is the hall mark of this artist.

There are different planes in his works in the form, content, colors and finally the work emerges out from his body, mind and soul.  His paintings are no doubt a visual delight to every one for the colors and the presentation, but if read into they are fathoms deep in their meaning. The dreams, perception, and the wisdom he gains from life, the artist puts it into colors with deft talent really leaves the viewer enamored. The blend of emotions in colors, taken from the palette of life and drawn with the dexterous fingers invoking the soul in them, this artist succeeds to a large extent in his works.
