Rashida Firoz Kalangi
Rashida firoz Kalangi, born in 1981, hails from Hyderabad. Specialized in acrylic on canvas , she has a diploma in fine arts from international fine arts academy. She has taken part in art mela at Hyderabad and has done solo exhibitions in Hyderabad. Her paintings got published in collage at annual publication of Bengali sanity of Hyderabad in 2010. Her painting holds an intrinsic value to Indian culture. The main themes revolve around the daily lives of people and scenic beauty of India.
My sojourn in the world of art has been life long and my connection with my art can be summed up in the words of Van Gogh -”I dream of painting and then I paint my dream”. My inspiration lies in telling stories on canvas and I see the extraordinary in the ordinary-ness of daily life. I specialize in Still Life, Landscapes, Seascapes & Semi-Abstract Paintings and work mostly with Oils.
