The ‘Abandoned’ series is a realistic series of paintings which at first glance would appear commonsensical and without any depth. However, when we scrape the surface and look deep beyond what meets the mere eyes, we can understand the true meaning of these paintings. God had never created anything in this world to be abandoned. He has created all the beautiful things in this world to be used by us. Despite this, it has been the tendency of human beings to be always in search of glimmer and to abandon the old things without even trying to repair it. The artist has noticed the old junk being thrown away carelessly in search of new, shiny objects. Objects which were once of prime use to someone has been ceremoniously abandoned. The same boats, windows and doors which we used has been thrown away. From this thought of the artist emerged the ‘abandoned’ series.
